CAROLYN JENKINS

Funeral services for Carolyn Renae Jenkins, 30, of Hamburg, were held Wednesday, June 25,
at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness with the Rev. Robert Adams officiating.
Burial was at Phillip Grove Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of
Hamburg.

She died Thursday, June 19, at University Medical Center in Little Rock. She was a native
of Ashley County, a counselor for the State of Iowa Department of Corrections and a member
of Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness. She was a 1985 graduate of Hamburg High School and
a 1989 graduate of Philander Smith College.

Survivors include one son, Chimo Okoye; mother, Nadine Parker of Hamburg; grandmother,
Annie Mae Love of Hamburg; seven brothers, Leander Jenkins Jr. of Lacey, James Jenkins and
Emmanuel Jenkins, both of New York City, Bennie Lee Jenkins of Dermott, Tracy Webb of
Crossett, James Reese of Little Rock and Larry Bankston of Hamburg; four sisters Kathy
Hampton and LaTissie Parker, both of Hamburg, Sharon Caldwell of Crossett and Katharine
Moore of Conway.

Pallbearers were David Henderson, Willie Ashford, Chad Tolefree, Ronnie Martin, Larry
Banks and Demond Jordan. Honorary pallbearers were the 1985 class of Hamburg High School.
