CHARLES HASSLER

Funeral services for Charles F. Hassler, 71, of Bastrop,La. will be held Wednesday, July
25 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of golden Funeral Home of Bastrop with the Rev. Carlton White
officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop.

Mr. Hassler died Monday, June 23, at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop. He was a
retired pulp mill operator for International Paper Co. and a member of Westside Baptist
Church of Bastrop.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Lockwood of Crossett; one son, Charles M. Hassler
of West Monroe, La.; three sisters, Mable Smith, Louise Cain and Fern Hill, all of
Bastrop; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Hassler.

Pallbearers are Bruce Hill, Darryl Lockwood, C.J. Hassler, Tommy Kendrick, Harry Walter,
Phillip Lum, Wiley Graves and Scotty Lockwood.

Honorary pallbearers are Robert E. Lyon, Aubrey Lockwood and LeRoy Odenbaugh.
