To the above I add that I have purchased of W.A. Sunington? 160 acres of land
for the Estate to which it was necessary from its …gerity to the homestead.  The
Deed came from H.C. Dade in whom was this legal title.  Dade first sold the land
to Hosea George by title bond at a sum which amounted to $1000 when the Deed was
made see the Deed on page 100 of Book in the Recording office of Ashley County
the land in fact being the SE qr of Sec 22 T 18S R4W but I had to give $[blank]
first.  I expended toward payment for it the $800.00 note against Swington?
Named in my Inventory including interest it was with at the time $ [blank] I
also collected on the two $2000 … on P.T. Harris jr on 1st march 1861 from ten
hundred dollars which I paid and said land leaving s… $[blank] with interest at
10 per cent from [blank] day of which where I pay I shall be entitled to credit
for I also take occation here to ref… that since the filing of my Inventory and
appraisement list the negroes of the names and valuations as therein appraised

Null Campbell the one falling first due had  in fact been paid to Hose George in
his lifetime and was improperly listed in my Inventory.  Also the 3 notes on
Joseph Sawyer listed in my Inventory was unsuccessfully ? resisted by Swayer .
As to the legiees of $50.00 each to C.P. & H.S. Christian.  I am … Guardian of
said children and acknowledge myself individually possessed of the same for them
the legacy of $1 to S.W. Christian he would not receive.  As to the whole
residue of the Estate Real personal cl… in action chattels & c I am sole legatee
absolute, under the will beyond question.  I am legatee for life or widowhood
and as such sole legatee I hereby acknowledge my possession of the same without
any waste of the same by me as adm… so having fully settled up the Estate
(except that to realize onto land…, cl… in action which an equably my own
individually I may have to sue at law in such repr…tation cap…) I here submit
this my final settlement.  And if other demands should be Established against
the Estate I here acknowledge myself bound to refund what may be needed to pay
the same to the same extent as if I had executed a refunding bond.  All which is
submitted Jany 27 1863.

continued for confer… to the July term of said Court 1854 on examination of said
account Current in open Court at the July Term 1854.  The Court found the assets
as charged by said administrator in his hands to be is $18681.38
            On further examination the Court found said Administrator entitled
to credits amounting to $19011.49 Which leaves said Estate indebted to said
Administrator three hundred and thirty dollars and Eleven cents together with
the further … of two dollars for cost paid as clerks fees in said settlement and
transcript and certificate & seal.  In testimony I G.W. Worthington do hereby
certify that the above is a correct copy of the amount as it now stands on the
Probate records. Sworn under my hand and seal office at Hamburg on the 29th day

and credited by the value of $500.00 who afterwards died at $900 & is entitled
to the further credit of the value of Charity who also lately died.  So the
death of Charity & this receipt entitled Harris to a credit of all of said
$6745.00 except Isaac’s valuation at $900 for which he got credit in his
settlement of Jany 1855 say $5845.00.  Also Morgan child of Rachel, William
child of Ann & Cain child of Charity born since Harris became Guardian.
