buildings, being the residence of said Richard B. Thacker at the time of his
death and the probate value of said premises is four thousand dollars.  Your
petitioner would state that said Richard B. Thacker before his death contracted
to sell 240 acres of the above named land.  The numbers of which she is unable
to state, to Nathan Green, but for which the said Nathan Green has not yet paid
or received the deed of conveyance for, but during the life time of said Richard
B. Thacker  entered upon in accordance

"with said contract and made valuable improvements and still is desirous of
perfecting said purchase.  The Slaves are Moses, Tabby, John, Emily, Patrick,
Henry, Jim, Marie, Harriet, Tom, Becca, Edmond, Allen, Peter, Lewis, Squire,
Davy, Jackson and one unnamed of the probable value of twelve thousand dollars.
 Your petitioner would further state that the heirs of said Richard B. Thacker
have not yet assigned to her his said dower in said lands and negro slaves, and
she therefore respectfully prays your Honor to order and desire that the dower
of your petitioner be laid off and assumed to her in said lands and negro slaves
