The horse & pistol were the property of James Ashley the father of George H.
Ashley who died after George H. Ashley. Another horse & Pistol having descended
to the children of George H. Ashley and their uncle in Mississippi to same
expense of administration as the Estate of James Ashley this administrator was
advised to charge himself in this administration as he had done above. The
$34.80 stated was a debt against James Ashley which this Admr has paid. He also
charges himself in the same way with 1/20 of $1000 the appraised value of negro
Tom named in appraisement  $500.00

Also on account of Stephen Herning against Wm Barnes for forty nine & 99/100
dollars debt & interest to date res… And said administrator to pay off said
fifth class claims has nothing remaining in his hands belonging to said Estate
as appears from this Account Current . With the above statement said
Administrator makes this Account current as a Final Settlement of his
administration and prays the same be confirmed by the Court.
