Brackmann Family Tree. John "Henry" Brackmann arrived in Lafayette
county from Hanover Germany around 1841 and settled in Concordia. I'm
looking for the names of the decendents from John Henry to my father
who was born in Concordia, Higginsville or Alma in 1900 or 1901. His
name is Walter Henry Brackmann. His father's name is Louie Brackmann
but I think the "Louie" was a nickname and I don't know his official
first name. He must have been born around the 1870's. It could be that
my grandfather was the son of August Brackmann who was born to John
Henry Brackmann on the boat as they traveled from Hanover. Or, it could
be that there was another generation in there. I would appreciate any
info on the Brackmann family tree that leads from John Henry from
Hanover to my father. Thanks.

HUNTSUCKER - My ancestors left Washington county, VA in about 1815,
possibly through TN. The next trace that we have of them is a marriage
of Thomas Huntsucker to Elizabeth Guinn on July 12, 1826 in Lafayette
county, MO. Other male adults in this group are three John Huntsuckers,
Pete and William Huntsuckers. Are there any land records, court
records, etc., that may place any of the family in Missouri earlier
than 1826? Any dates or other info on the family above will be greatly
appreciated.

Looking for Meyers in the Lafayette county, MO area. I came across a

taken in Higginsville, Concordia, Sedalia, Kansas City and Sweet

I hope to locate possible descendants or relatives of Catherine Braasch
Gieseke. Louis F. Gieseke married Catherine Brasasch of Brasch of
Concordia, MO., sometime between 1903 and 1929, closer to the first
date than the second. The couple lived, for a time at least, in Eugene,
OR. Because Catherine's brother Henry also married a Gieseke (Clara),
and because I think there is a good chance that Louis and Clara were
related. Louis Gieseke may well have come from Missouri, if not, from
Concordia, perhaps from near by. Can anyone help?
