Russell Howard Kinnamon

Russell Howard Kinnamon, 79, Armstrong, a native of Odessa
died November 7, 1999 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

He was born July 21, 1920, the son of Russell B and Pauline
E. Guatier Kinnamon, in Odessa.

While living in the Kansas City area, Kinnamon retired as
a service manager from a Chrysler/Plymout dealership.  He
was an Army veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of
sereant in the 78th Infantry Division and a recipient of
three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart.

Kinnamon moved to Howard County in 1976.  He was a member
of Missouri Cattlemen's Association, Heart of American
Brangus Association, International Brangus Breeders
Association, Fayette VFW Post and Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Marrietta "Rita"
Smith Kinnamon of the home; three sisters, Elizabeth
Hildebrand, California, Rose Smiley, Texas, Marie Fitzhugh, 
Florida; a half-sister, Carol Brown, Nebraska; and a step
brother, John Sims, Kansas City.

He was proceded in death by a brother, Roger, and a sister,
Marjorie Round.

Services were Wednesday at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home, 
Fayette; burial in Odessa Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Howard County Home Health, 600
W. Morrison, Fayette or Fayette Lions Club.
