SMITH, ALBERTHA B. 

Mrs. Albertha Bias Smith, 74, a resident and native of Morgan City, died 
Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 1:30 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center in 
Morgan City following a short illness.

She is survived by two sons, Carlos O. Bias and Connie and Nathaniel Clark Jr. 
and Theresa of Morgan City; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other 
relatives and friends.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one grandson, 
two sisters and three brothers.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, July 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at New 
Zora Baptist Church in Morgan City.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 2 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Terry Lee Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
