June 19, 1827
This indenture made this nineteenth day of June in the
year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty seven
between Charles I. McDonald of the County of Bibb and
said State of the one part and Harrison Smith of the same
County and State of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said Charles I. McDonald for and in
consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to him in
hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these
presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
Harrison Smith his heirs and assigns all that tract or
parcel of land situate lying and being of the time of
survey in County of Monroe and now the County of Bibb and
distinguished by Lot three hundred and sixty eight in the
Thirteenth District of said County of Monroe containing
two hundred two and one half more or less originally
granted to Eliza Brantly, orphan.

To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land together
with all and singular the rights, members and
appurtenances thereof to the same in any wise being,
belonging or appertaining to the only proper use benefit
and behoof of him the said Harrison Smith his heirs and
assigns forever in fee simple.  And said Charles J.
McDonald for himself his heirs Executors and
Administrators the said bargained premises unto the said
Harrison Smith his heirs and assigns will warrant &
forever defend against the claim of (all other persons
whatsoever).

In witness whereof the said Charles J. McDonald hath
hereunto set his hand and seal the day & year above
written.
