A resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, he died at Washington Regional Medical 
Center, Fayetteville.  Born Feb. 21, 1933 in Lincoln, Arkansas to Clora 
Cheatham Whitlow and Chester Whitlow. He was preceded in death by his parents, 
4 siblings, Vern Whitlow, Leslie Whitlow, Glen Whitlow and Vera Mae Smith.
Bob was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Tyson Foods.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, two sons and a daughter, two grandsons 
and a brother.
Funeral held Monday, August 31, 2009 at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in 
Fayetteville.  Burial will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
