Richard "Bud" West, 83, of Spring Valley, died on Match 11, 2008, at the
Northwest Medical Center-Springdale.

Born Sept 28, 1924, at Spring Valley, son of Ira and Edith Smith West, farmer,
veteran of World War II, member of Hickory Flat Free Will Baptist Church

Preceded in death by parents and sister, Dorothy Boone

Survivors include wife, Lucille Evan West, married July 27, 1946; son and
daughter-in-law, Jack and Shirley West; four daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene
and Jim Pitts, Louise and Wayne Rigsbee, Lorene and Norman Brandenburg, and Lois
Ann and Robert Perriman; brother, Wayne West; sister, Marquertte Stevens; 19
grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren

Services on March 14, at Mount Zion Free Will Baptist Church at Burkshed, burial
at Burkshed Cemetery
