CATHY A. E. BENNETT

GALVESTON, TEXAS -- Cathy Ann Ellis Bennett, 41 of Galveston, Texas, died
Tuesday, June 9, 1992, at her home.

She was born Jan. 21, 1951, in Tampa, Florida. She was a member of the
Christian Church, faculty of National Criminal Defense College since 1976,
National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and an honorary member of
Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

She worked on such well-known cases as the William Kennedy Smith rape trial,
the John De Lorean case and the Howard Hughes will case.

Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Hirschorn of Galveston: her parents,
Glenn and Jimmie Ellis of Hot Springs; one sister, Rebecca Ellis Christy of
Dallas; one brother, William Glenn Ellis of Houston; one sister-in-law, Gail
Ellis of Houston; one stepson, Matthew Hirschorn of Arvada, Colorado; one
niece, Vanessa Ellis of Houston; and one nephew, Christopher Ellis of
Houston.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sundy at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in
Nashville.

Burial will be in Unity Cemetery near Nashville under the direction of
Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. at Rothko Chapel in Houston.

Memorials may be made to the National Criminal Defense College, Mercer Law
School in Macon, Georgia; or to Our Daily Bread in Galveston.

RUTH KINSEY BRYANT

STORY -- Ruth Kinsey Bryant, 78, of Story, died Wednesday, June 10, 1992 at
a local hospital.
 
She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Burl Bryant of Story; one brother, Oscar
Kinsey of Fannie; and one sister, Ruby Lamb of Hot Springs.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Ron
Nease officiating.

Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida is in charge of arrnagements.
 
JOHN H. COOKE SR.

TERRELL, TEXAS -- John Henry Cooke Sr., 73, of Terrell, Texas, died Sunday,
June 7, 1992, in a Dallas hospital.

Formerly a resident of Hot Springs, he was born July 31, 1918, in Yukon,
Oklahoma, to the late David Lee Cooke and Essie Coleman Cooke. He was a
rancher and a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Terrell.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Noles Cooke of Terrell; one son, John H.
Cooke, Jr. of Terrell; one daughter, Brenda Ferrell of Terrell; one sister,
Kathryn Cooke of Dallas; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Hart of Hot Springs and
Sammie Lois Patton of Benton; two brothers-in-law, James M. Hart of Hot
Springs and William E. Patton of Benton; and five grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home.

He was buried in Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell.

MYRTLE B. ELKINS

KLAMATH FALLS, OREGON -- Myrtle B. Elkins, 79, died Thursday, June 11, 1992,
in Cabot.

Formerly of Malvern, she was born Feb. 19, 1913, in Calhoun County to David
M. Rowland and Mary Tucker Rowland. She was a homemaker and affiliated with
the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles
Elkins.

Survivors include two sisters, Mae Taylor and Mable Gardiner, both of
Malvern; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Cooper Cemetery in Hot Springs
County under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Services Inc.

HENRY L. HAMPTON

Henry Levi Hampton, 88, of Hot Springs died Wednesday, June 10, 1992, in Hot
Springs.

He was a former owner of Mini-Mart on Park Avenue and a member of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Hampton; three sons, H. Glenn Hampton of
West Valley, Utah, Keith Baker of New Albany, Mississippi, and Kenneth Baker
of Searcy; two daughters, LaVonne Redhair of West Valley, Utah, and Kathy
Parker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one brother, William H. Hampton Jr., of
Monticello; one sister, Syble McCollum of Hot Springs; 20 grandchildren and
several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Gross Funeral Home Chapel with the
Bishop Charles Byers and Elder Mike Hale officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens,

Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Graveside services for Roy Ferry Richardson, 81, of Hot Springs who died
Tuesday, June 9, 1992, are at 10 a.m. today in National Cemetery in Little
Rock.

Honorary pallbearers are Augie Myers and Charles Garrett.

Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

Graveside services for Blanche B. Sullivan, 90, of Hot Springs who died
Tuesday, May 26, 1992, are at 10 a.m. today in Greenwood Cemetery with the
Rev. Jim Lenderman officiating.

She was a retired fashion model and a Methodist.

Hot Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

FREDDIE WISEMON

Freddie Mae Wisemon, 57, died Monday, June 8, 1992, in a Memphis hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Clewester Wisemon Sr. of Pine Bluff; four
daughters, Ruby Perkins of Hot Springs and Wanda Jones, Particia Cole,
Kenyatta Wisemon, all of Pine Bluff; three sons, Clewester Wisemon Jr., and
Frederick Wisemon Jr. both of Pine Bluff and Fernard Wisemon of Ocean side,
California; one son-in-law, Willie Perkins of Hot Springs; and
grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. at main Street Church of God in Christ in Pine
Bluff.

P. K. Miller Mortuary in Pine Bluff is in charge of arrangements.

Local arrangements are by Harris Mortuary of Hot Springs.
