CHARLES E. BISHOP

The service for Charles F. Bishop, 74, of Hot Springs who died Wed., 
June 27, 2001, will be 3 p.m. today in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel.

The body will be creamated. 


JAMES E. BLACK

MOUNT IDA-- James Emery Black, 93, of Mount Ida died Thurs., June 28, 
2001, in a Montgomery County nursing home.

Born May 25, 1908, at Red Bird to Henry Warren and Joanna Bell Graves 
Black. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 67 yrs., Minnie Black; two sons, James 
Hodge Black and Lowell Lynn Black; seven grandchildren; 11 
great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mercedes Mitchell and Lorene 
Lotridge; and one brother, Rosa Black.

The service will be 10 a.m. Mon. in Barr Memorial Presbyterian Church, 
Norman, with Brothers Osborn White and Hartley Jones officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robert Black, David Black, Todd Black, Ryan Black; 
Kevin Black and Michael Black.

Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 1 to 8 p.m. Sun.

Arrangements are by Thornton Funeral Home.
