The son of Nancy Jane Anderson and Peter Edward Bozeman ( Civil War soldier) and John was the husband of Alice Lorena Stephens, a mixed Cherokee, and they lived on a farm in Ramer Alabama. Alice had children with John: Lorena Bozeman McClain, Ethel Mae Bozeman Gibson, John, Bertha Bozeman Broadway and Rollie before she died and then John remarried three more times. Alice is buried at Sellers Station. His second wife, Ellen Bean, also buried at Hills Chapel, had other children with John: Nancy Jane, Jesse, Manning, Bob, James Thedro. His third wife, Samantha Faulk, may have had children with John that I have not yet found. It is told that Peter Edward may be buried in the woods behind Hills Chapel Church but he should have a headstone marking his service in the Civil War. Peter's father was William Henry Boseman and William was the son of Revolutionary Patriot Peter Bozeman who left Darlington South Carolina and farmed in Hope Hull, Alabama. Additional Comments: Peter Bozeman settled in Hope Hull with wife, Sarah, sons Jesse, William, Peter, Meedy, and daughter Lucy who married Sterling Campbell, all found on census records and documents in the Probate Office.
