FAMILY BIBLE OF ANDREW AND SARAH SMITH



These are the contents of the family bible for Andrew Smith (1811-1869), 

son of Richard and Elender Smith of Overton Co, TN and his wife Sarah 

Unknown Smith (1815-1888) of NC.  The information was recorded, probably 

by Sarah, on a separate piece of paper.  The bible is the New Testament only, 

approximately 6" x 9", and was published in 1878.

The grandchildren born after the family moved from Kentucky to Llano 

and San Saba Counties of Texas are not recorded.  Sarah "Sally" Smith 

died in 1888 and is buried in the Algerita Cemetery in San Saba County, TX.



The Bible is in the possession of descendants of Richard Andrew Smith.
