Smith, Mrs. Mary

  "Mrs. Mary Smith" wife of Mark Smith of this place, died at her home on Main 
Street this Thursday morning at little past two o'clock. Mrs. Smith had not been 
in good health for several years but became helpless a few days ago. She was 
aged 67 years. The deceased was born and grew to womanhood in the vicinity of 
Frostburg. Following her marriage she and her husband lived in and about 
Meyersdale the rest of her life. There survive her five daughters and two sons; 
Mrs. J. F. Reich, Meyersdale; Misses Mollie and Leota of Pittsburg; Miss Sarah 
at home; Mrs. Ruth Ridebaugh, Logan, O.; James of Enid, O. and Wm. B. who is in 
the marine service at Port Royal, S. C. The funeral services will be held on 
Saturday morning with requiem mass in the Catholic Church, following which 
interment will be made in the Catholic Cemetery.
