  SMITH
     
    John Smith, 87, of Quecreek, died Feb. 13, 1995, in his home.  Born
  Jan. 15, 1908, in Johnstown, son of the late William and Nellie
  Smith.  Preceded in death by one sister, Helen, and brothers: Joseph,
  Martin, Stanley and Frank.  Survived by his wife, Mary Lohr; sister,
  Mary Zuravansky, Quecreek; brothers: Andrew, Virginia Beach, Va.;
  Walter of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Edward of Buffalo, N.Y.  Member of
  UMWA.  Retired employee of Saxman Coal & Coke Company, and PennDOT. 
  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m.
  Thursday, Rev. Arthur Mahaffey.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
