  ANNIE SMITH
  
    Annie Smith, 89, of Grantsville, died Aug. 28, 1994, at Goodwill
  Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
    Born Nov. 7, 1904, in Grantsville, she was the daughter of the late
  Henry and Alice (Stanton) Yommer.  She also was preceded in death by
  her husband, Clyde Smith on Nov. 28, 1979.
    Mrs. Smith was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings, and
  enjoyed making crafts, quilts, hooked rugs and stamp plates for
  herself and others.
    Surviving are two daughters, Verda Day and husband W. Paul Day,
  Seminole, Fla.; Ruth Yommer, Grantsville; one brother, Walter Yommer,
  Sequim, Wash.; one sister, Mary Shives, Grantsville, and one
  step-grandson, Philip Day, Alphretta, Ga.
    Services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church Aug. 30 with Pastor
  Louise Knotts officiating.  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.  Funeral
  arrangements by Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
