LaDONNA JANE SMITH

  Mrs. Smith, 46, of Box 128, Mounted Route, Roaring Spring, died at 4 p.m. 
Friday. July 30, 1982, in Mercy Hospital, following an extended illness.
  Mrs. Smith had formerly  worked at Sylvania.
  She was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Woodbury, the daughter of Harry and Vergie 
(Hoover) Bassler, and Dec. 24, 1957, in Winchester, Va., married Donald I. 
Smith.
  Surviving are her husband, three children: Kevin D. of, Mounted Route, Roaring 
Spring, Mrs. Elaine K. Snively of Martinsburg and Julie Ann at home, and a 
grandson.
  Also surviving are her mother of Loysburg; two brothers' and a sister: Harry 
of Lancaster, Gerald of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Geraldine Fletcher of 
Martinsburg, and a foster sister, Sally Ann Clark in California.
  Mrs. Smith was a member of the Martinsburg Church of God.
  She was a 1954 graduate of Woodbury High School.
  Friends will he received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the J. Gary Thompson 
Funeral Home, Roaring Spring.

SMITH - Services for LaDonna Jane Smith of Box 128, Mounted Route, Roaring 
Spring, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Martinsburg Church of God, by the 
Rev. Thomas Tillett. Interment in Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury. Friends will be 
received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the J. Gary Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring 
Spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Martinsburg Church 
of God missionary fund.
