EMANUEL SMITH

Of 307 Main street, Bellwood, formerly of Water Street, died unexpectedly at his 
residence at 3.15 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was born in Draudman, Aug. 13, 
1872, a son of Jacob and Hannah (Imler) Smith, and married Emma Hesley on Feb. 
27, 1893, at Altoona. Surviving are his widow, a brother, Fred of Lakemont and a 
sister, Mrs. Gertrude Anders of Water Street. Mr. Smith attended the Methodist 
church in Bellwood. Friends will be received at the Friedline funeral home. 
Williamsburg, from 7 o'clock this evening until 11 o'clock tomorrow morning and 
thereafter at the home.
