  Leader Vindicator 
  Miss Edith Smith, aged 61, died at her home in Dayton, Pa., Wednesday afternoon,
  May 15, 1940, of a heart ailment.
  	
  She is survived by two brothers and one sister, Alvin and Park Smith of New
  Bethlehem, R. D.  and Mrs. Annie Dinger of Punxsutawney.  Three half-sisters and
  one half-brother also survive:  Mrs. Lottie Snyder, Mrs. Calvin Reddinger and
  Mrs. James Dinger of Timblin; a brother Isaac Smith of Brookville and a step
  brother William Yount of Shelocta.
  	
  Funeral services were conducted from the Wadding funeral home, Dayton, Saturday,
  May 18, at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the Methodist church cemetery at
  Dayton.
