May Smith

  The body of May Smith, the 11-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. 
Smith, of McKeesport, arrived in town yesterday afternoon and was taken 
to the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Kleckner on Washington avenue, where 
funeral services were held at 7:30 o'clock last evening by Rev. G. M. 
Glenn, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church.  The cortege 
will leave this morning on the Valley train for Snow Shoe, where 
interment will take place.  The child died Wednesday from encephalitis.  
She leaves her father, one sister, Queen, and a brother, William.  Mrs. 
Kleckner, of this place, is an aunt.
