At a Surrogate's Court, held in and for the County of Chenango, at the
Surrogate's Office in the Village of Norwich, on the 21st day of April 1893.

In The Matter Of Proving The Last Will And Testament of Henry A. Rindge
Deceased.

Lydia M. Skinner, the Executrix named in the last will and testament of Henry
A. Rindge late of the town of Norwich in the County of Chenango, deceased,
having heretofore made application to the Surrogate's Court of said County of
Chenango for the proof and probate of said will, and a citation having been
thereupon issued pursuant to law, directed to all persons required to be cited
by Section 2615 of the Code of Civil Procedure, citing and requiring them and
each of them to appear at a Surrogate's Court to be held in and for said
County of Chenango on the 13th day of April 1893 then and there to attend the
probate of said will; and the said citation having been returned with proof of
the due service thereof on Helen Rindge, Isaac H. Rindge, Clara Rindge and the
said Executrix having appeared in person and by H. Phelps Esq. in support of
the proof of same, and it appearing that Clara Rindge is an infant, and A.
Billings Packer having been duly appointed Special Guardian for said infant in
this proceeding and he having duly appeared herein as such and Wm. H. Sullivan
Esq. appeared as atty. for Helen Rindge and Isaac H. Rindge and no other
appearances having been made herein the said Executor thereupon produced in
open court the following attesting witnesses to said will and made proof of
the due execution thereof as follows:

STATE OF NEW YORK, 
                                                }ss:
County of Chenango,

Wm Masau being duly sworn and examined in open Court in this proceeding by or
on behalf of the proponent of said will, deposes and says: I reside at the
village of Norwich in the County of Chenango. I was personally acquainted with
the said testator, Henry A. Rindge, deceased. I was present as a witness at
the time of the execution of the written instrument now produced and shown to
me bearing date the 3rd day of February 1893, and purporting to be the last
will and testament of said Henry A. Rindge, deceased. I saw said decedent
subscribe his name at the end of the said instrument at the time it bears date
in the presence of H. Phelps the other attesting witness. At the same time and
place the said decedent declared the said instrument to be his last will and
testament and requested me and said H. Phelps to become attesting witnesses
thereto. I then and there, pursuant to such request, signed my name as such
witness at the end of the said instrument in the presence of the said decedent
and the said other attesting witness. I also saw the said other attesting
witness sign his name to the said instrument at the end thereof at the same
time and place and in the presence of the said decedent and at his request.
The said decedent was, at the time he so executed the said instrument, upwards
of twenty-one years of age, and he was, in my opinion, of sound mind and
memory and not under any restraint

on behalf of the proponent of said will, deposes and says: I reside at the
village of Norwich in the County of Chenango. I was personally acquainted with
the said testator, Henry A. Rindge, deceased. I was present as a witness at
the time of the execution of the written instrument now produced and shown to
me bearing date the 3rd day of February 1893, and purporting to be the last
will and testament of said Henry A. Rindge, deceased. I saw said decedent

in the presence of Wm Masau the other attesting witness. At the same time and
place the said decedent declared the said instrument to be his last will and

and the said other attesting witness. I also saw the said other attesting

time and place and in the presence of the said decedent and at his request.
The said decedent was, at the time he so executed the said instrument, upwards

The Foregoing Proofs having been duly taken in said Court, by and before said
Surrogate, and the allegations of the parties appearing having been heard, and
the Surrogate having inquired particularly into all the facts and
circumstances, and being satisfied of the genuineness of the Will and the
validity of its execution, and that the testator, at the time of executing it
was in all respects competent to make a will and not under restraint, and the
probate of said Will and not having been contested:

It is Adjudged and Decreed, That the said instrument offered for probate in
the matter was duly executed, and in the Last Will and Testament of the said
testator, and as such is valid as a Will of real and personal property, and
the same is hereby admitted to probate and established as a Will of real and
personal property.

In the Name of God, Amen.
I, Henry A. Rindge of Norwich, NY being of sound mind and memory, and
considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore
make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that
is to say,

First - After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath
an devise to my daughter, Helen Rindge all my real estate and personal estate
of whatsoever name or nature, for and during the term of her natural life, and
from and after the decease of my said daughter, I give, devise and bequeath,
unto Lydia M. Skinner all the real estate and personal estate, above mentioned
and all the real and personal estate of which I may die seized her heirs and
assigns forever,

Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint Lydia M. Skinner to be Executrix and
trustee of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills
by me made.

In Witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal,
the third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and ninety three.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Henry A. Rindge in our
presence, and acknowledged by him to each of us; and he at the same time
declared the above instrument, so subscribed, to be his last Will and
Testament: and we, at his request, have signed our names as witnesses hereto,
in his presence and in the presence of each other, and written opposite our
names our respective places of residence.
