Jordan Road Cemetery, Plymouth, MA 02360.
The cemetery was established at least as early as 1833.

Directions: Going south on Route 3, exit at 5, Long Pond Road and take a right
at the light. Go through the next set of lights and traveling about 2 miles,
take a left onto Jordan Road. The cemetery is about 2/10 mile on the left.

Transcriptions by Mary Aguilar on 06/17/02.

Dates appear from the earliest (1833) to the latest (2001), although some
"residents" were actually born before the earliest transcribed dates noted
herein.

Nineteen (19) stones are transcribed as accurately as possible. Spellings are
as they appear on the stone. Where we have typed a question mark in a
parenthesis "(?)" means that we are not able to determine exactly what is
engraved on the stone, but have taken an educated guess: e.g., "1853(?)" means
"It appears to 1853"; or "Annabelle(?)" means "It appears to be ANNABELLE." A
question mark without a parenthesis "?" simply means that an alpha or numeric in
a word or date cannot be exactly ascertained but again, an educated guess is
made: "185?" means "eighteen- hundred-and-fifty-something"; or "Born ? 7, 1853"
means "born on the 7th in an unreadable month in 1853"; or "? JONES" means
"unreadable given name JONES". Most of the stones are in good-to-excellent
condition; however, some stones were difficult to read having been worn from age
and erosion, broken, or buried. In addition there appear to be many grave sites
with no markers. In all of these cases, notations are made to that affect. As
with most "working" cemeteries, some markers may have been removed for
maintenance or repair. In these cases, we would have no knowledge of the missing
marker(s). Finally, important to note is that we are extremely careful to
ensure that NO STONES ARE DAMAGED DURING THIS PROJECT.

(All of the graves are located in rows and plots of what appear to be unmarked
grave sites. My assumption is that due to the it's location in a wood, missing
stones were destroyed, or damaged and removed.)
