  Pastor William Wesley Jackson, 60, of Nashville died August 24, 2015, at South 
Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.
 He was born May 31, 1955, in Nashville to Alma Ruth Jackson and the late 
Charlie Jackson. He was a 1974 graduate of Berrien High School, served in the 
United States Army, and worked with Mids Transportation, Inc. He was a member 
and assistant pastor of New Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church of Nashville. He 
was ordained in September of 2011 as pastor of Crenshaw Community Church in 
Crenshaw and was a faithful servant until the Lord called him home.
 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charlie 
Jackson, Jr., Billy Jackson, Samuel Jackson, and Edward Jackson.
 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Annie Jackson of 
Lakeland; two daughters, LaToya (Terry) Vickers and Kristy Jackson, all of 
Nashville; eight grandchildren, Keshard, Stoss, Derrick, Kendon, Khloe, Titus, 
Jacori and Jakara; two brothers, Hugh Jackson and Willie (Gloria) Everett, all 
of Nashville; sister, JoAnn Jackson of Nashville; two aunts, Margaret Carter and 
Ruby Roberts, both of Atlantic City, NJ; nieces, Yolanda, Tamar, Tarsha, Sandy, 
Carolyn Jackson, Kimberly (Leland) Lyle and Trina Harley; nephews, Edward, 
Keith, Sam, Kurk Jackson and Kenzie Ross; a host of great nieces and nephews; a 
special cousin, Pastor Edith Dunlap; and a host of cousins and friends.
 Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 29 at 11 a.m. at New Emanuel 
Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph White, Jr. officiating.
 Interment was in St. James Cemetery in Nashville with a Flag Presentation by 
the Ft. Benning Honor Guard.
 Active pallbearers were Haywood Collier, Roderick Smith, Edmond Poole, Sam 
Buie, Marquis Johnson, Tommy Clark.
 Honorary pallbearers were ministers of the Gospel and Deacons.
