In the Name of God Amen I Robert Bryan of
Southampton County being very Sick & weak of Body but in
perfect memory thanks be to God for it and remembring [sic]
the mortality of my Body do give and Bequeath in the
manner following first I Bequeath my Soul to God who

gave it and my Body To be Buried in decent manner
according to the discretion of my Executors and with
what wordly [sic] Goods God hath been pleased to Endow me
with I give & dispose of in manner & Terms as following
Item I give and bequeath to my loving wife her choice of
two feather Beds and all my Pewter and Iron Pots
Item I give to my son William Bryan one square Table
and Iron bound Chest one Copper Kettle and two Guns
and the Plantation where I now live and all the Land
belonging to me that joins to the said Plantation
Item I give to my son William a Plantation that lieth
on the North Side of Tarararo Creek in Southampton County
a hundred & sixty Acres more or less
Item I give to my Daughter Morning one Cow & Calf to
be paid this Spring following and one Feather Bed that
she hath now in her Possession and one pot & Frying

Item I give to me Daughter Ann one Cow & Calf
Item I give to my Grandaughter [sic] Elizabeth Garner One Cow
& Calf when she cometh of Age
Item I give to my Son Thomas Bryan all my wearing
cloaths [sic]
Item I give to my Son Robert Bryan One Shilling
Item I give to my Son John Bryan One Shilling
Item I furthermore do Give & bequeath all the remaining
part of my Estate to be Equally divided between my
Daughter Rebecca and my Daughter Alsie and my
Daughter Mary Garner and my son Gail and my
Daughter Ann and my Daughter Sarah and my
Daughter Elizabeth all be Equally divided among
them I do hereby Constitute and appoint my Sons
William Bryan and Thomas Bryan my Whole &
Sole Executors of this my last Will & Testament Witness
my Hand & seal this 20[?]th Day of August 1750
