Virginian-Pilot, 3-11-1926 
Mrs. Lucretia Reid Dugas, wife of Edward C.Dugas, and daughter of the late 
Robert and Mary A.Reid, died at Birmingham, AL, Tuesday evening.
A native and former resident of Norfolk, she twice was married. Her first 
husband was the late Capt.James F. Cecil, of Norfolk. Besides her husband, 
Edward C. Dugas, of Birmingham, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Helen Reid 
Marshall, of Richmond; two nieces, Mrs. J. Chandler Hill of Norfolk, and Mrs. 
Winston Parrish of Lynchburg; two nephews, Robert R. Browne of Norfolk, and 
William Marshall of Ashland, KY, and several great nieces and nephews. Services 
will be held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, tomorrow morning on 
arrival of S. A. L. train, due at 8:05 o’clock, the Rev. J. L. MacMillan DD, of 
First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
