Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch July 6, 1950
Mrs. Mamie Dobbs, 72, wife of Augustus Dobbs, was found dead in bed at her 
residence, 101 East 29th Street, yesterday at 6:30 a.m.
Mrs. Dobbs, who died of natural causes, had been in failing health for some time.
She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late John and Mrs. Mary 
Kaiser.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Aubrey L. Dobbs and 
Robert R. Craig, both of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. L. L. Waterfield, of Norfolk 
County, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home of Paul B. 
Warren and Son. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
