GEORGE M. DECKER, OWNER AND OPERATOR OF DECKER'S AMOCO

NORFOLK - George Michael Decker, 61, of 1152 Larchmont Crescent, died Monday in 
his home.

He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and owned and operated Decker's Amoco on 
Hampton Boulevard.  Decker was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and 
Knights of Columbus Lodge 364.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two sisters, Lillian Cornett of Virginia Beach and Marguerite 
Nichols of Alexandria; and five brothers, Frank E. Decker, Melvin P. Decker and 
Alfred M. Decker, all of Norfolk, Charles F. Decker of Alexandria and Robert R. 
Decker of Percyville.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be said at noon Wednesday in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Nee.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

A Christian wake will be held at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk.
