   W.H.  Hodge,  81, of Big Lake died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in a local
   hospital.
   
   Graveside  service  will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Glen Rest Cemetery in
   Big Lake. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
   
   He was born Oct. 1, 1918, in Sherwood. He was a rancher.
   
   Survivors  include  two  sons, Bill Hodge and Tommy Hodge, both of Big
   Lake;  a sister, Mrs. John Hosenbach of Crane; four grandchildren; two
   great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   
   Emma Seaman
   
   
   Emma  Seaman,  89,  of  San  Angelo died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in a
   local hospital.
   
   Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Cemetery in
   Lawton,  Okla., with Dr. William F. Watkins, associate pastor of First
   Baptist  Church  of  Lawton,  officiating.  Arrangements are by Becker
   Funeral  Home  of  Lawton  with  local  arrangements  by Robert Massie
   Funeral Home.
   
   She  was  born  Dec.  28,  1910,  in Lawton. She was a homemaker and a
   member of the First Baptist Church.
   
   Survivors   include   a   son,  Richard  Seaman  of  San  Angelo;  two
   grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   Jerry  W.  Blocker, 57, of San Angelo died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in a

   Rebecca  Rodriguez, 51, of San Angelo died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in a
   local   hospital.   Services   are   pending   at   Gutierrez  Funeral

   Edwin Petsch
   
   
   FREDERICKSBURG - Edwin A. Petsch, 81, of Fredericksburg died Saturday,
   Feb. 26, 2000, in a Kerrville hospital.
   
   Vigil  service  will  be at 7 p.m. today in the Schaetter Funeral Home
   Chapel.  Service  will  be  at  10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic
   Church with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
   
   He  was  born  March  26,  1918,  in  Gillespie County. He worked as a
   blacksmith and farrier for the State Park.
   
   Survivors  include his wife, Evelyn Oehler Petsch of Fredericksburg; a
   daughter,  Sharon  Garza  of  San  Angelo; a son, Lyndon Petsch of San
   Antonio;  two  brothers, Eugene Petsch of Covelo, Calif., and the Rev.
   Joseph   P.   Petsch   of  Leon  Springs;  three  grandchildren;  five
   stepgrandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
   
   Alma Beam
   
   
   MASON - Alma A. Beam, 81, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000.
   
   Service  will  be at 3 p.m. today at Mason Funeral Home with burial in
   Cavaness Cemetery.
   
   She was born Nov. 26, 1918, in Calf Creek.
   
   Survivors include her children, Wilton M. Beam of Wichita Falls, Wanda
   June White of Troy, Betty Lou Ann Robertson of San Saba, Billy Beam of
   Mason,  Franklin Beam of Killeen, Kerman Beam of Columbus, Ohio, Norma
   Lee  Britton  of  Knox,  Ind.,  Alma  Mae Holley of Kendaha and Lettie

   Jamie MacInnis
   
   
   TUSCOLA - Jamie Lemburg MacInnis, 69, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at
   her residence.
   
   Graveside  service  will  be  at  a  later date in Ballinger Cemetery.
   Arrangements are by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
   
   She  was born Dec. 27, 1930, in Ballinger. She lived in San Angelo for
   27 years and was an Episcopalian.
   
   Survivors  include  three  sons,  Edward  MacInnis  of Alvarado, James
   MacInnis  of Arlington and Patrick MacInnis of San Angelo; a daughter,
   Cathering  Morris of Tuscola; her mother, Ruth Vancil of Abilene; five
   grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

   FREDERICKSBURG - Edwin W. Gibson, 89, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in a
   local hospital.
   
   Vigil  service  will  be  at  6 p.m. in Schaetter Funeral Home Chapel.
   Service will be at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in
   St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
   
   He was born June 18, 1910, in Lubbock. He was a tool designer.
   
   Survivors  include his wife, Frances Ernst Gibson of Fredericksburg; a
   son,  James  Gibson  of  North Carolina; a daughter, Mary Jane Bustle;
   four  sisters,  Inetta  Hodges  of  Junction,  Margaret  C.  Hynes  of
   Fredericksburg,  Thelma  McClung of Fort Worth and Elizabeth El Israel
   of Alaska; two brothers, Paul M. Gibson of Colorado and Frank Bartlett
   of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
   
   Merel Eddleman
   
   
   McCAMEY - Merel Oris Eddleman, 82, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000.
   
   Graveside  service  will  be  at  2  p.m. today in Resthaven Cemetery.
   Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
   
   He  was  born  March  1,  1917,  in  Frederick,  Okla., and had been a
   resident of McCamey since 1937. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War
   II,  he  owned  West  Texas  Distributors,  was a pilot and a civilian
   flight trainer. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
   
   Survivors  include  a  son,  Kirk  Eddleman of Bryan; three daughters,
   Karen Dempsey and Connie Roby, both of Brownwood, and Judy Eddleman of
   Questa, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and a niece.
   
   Magness Simpson
   
   
   WINTERS  - Magness Marie ``Maggie'' Simpson, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 27,
   2000, in a local care center.
   
   Service  will  be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church with
   burial in Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Winters Funeral Home.
   
   She  was born Dec. 6, 1919, in Alba and had been a resident of Runnels
   County since 1920. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God
   Church.
   
   Survivors  include  her  husband,  Ilis  B.  Simpson  of  Winters; two
   daughters, Patricia Ann Ferguson of Ada, Okla., and Jo Ann Holloway of
   Vernon;   three  grandchildren;  seven  great-grandchildren;  and  two
   great-great-grandchildren.

   LAMPASAS  - Floyd A. Smith, 97, of Oakalla died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000,
   in a local nursing home.
   
   Service  will  be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sheppard Memorial Funeral Home
   Chapel of Memories with Masonic graveside service in Smith Cemetery in
   Oakalla.
   
   He was born Sept. 4, 1902, in Oakalla. He was a rancher and a Realtor.
   he was a Mason and a Baptist.
   
   Survivors   include  a  son,  Floyd  E.  Smith  Sr.  of  Kempner;  two
   grandchildren,  Floyd  E.  Smith  Jr.  of  Burleson and James Smith of
   Kempner; and three great-grandchildren.

   MARIE LYNN HENRY
   
   
   Marie  Lynn  Henry, 79, of San Angelo died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb.
   26, 2000, in a local nursing care center.
   
   Marie was born May 20, 1920, in Sweetwater. She was a registered nurse
   and  a member of the Methodist Church. She married Allen Henry in 1952
   at Sweetwater.
   
   She  is  survived  by two brothers, Burl Lynn of Waco and Boyd Lynn of
   Gualala,  Calif.;  a  sister-in-law,  Herminia Lynn of Eagle Pass; and
   numerous nieces and nephews.
   
   Graveside  service  will  be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29, in Fairmount
   Cemetery  with  the  Rev.  Paul Terry officiating. Arrangements are by
   Johnson's Funeral Home.
