Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. She was born May 9,
1941, in Taloga, Okla. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran. Survivors include
her husband, Jessie Sheppard of Grape Creek; two daughters, Diane Gonzalez of
Tijeras, N.M., and Juanita Gillespie of Santa Fe, N.M.; a son, Bill Felts of
Valmy, Nev.; a sister, Janet Sheppard; her parents, Henry and Eulita Welch;
and seven grandchildren.

			MILDRED JAMES
Mildred Pauline James, 79, of Mertzon died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, in a local
hospital. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mertzon Cemetery
with Reuben Stanley officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1918, in Plains. She was a county treasurer for 20 years
and a member of First Methodist Church in Mertzon. Survivors include a
daughter, Nola Jones of Paint Rock; seven grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.

			EDGAR WARREN
SWEETWATER - Edgar Lewis Warren, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in a local
retirement center. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Baptist
Church in Clovis, N.M., with burial in Portales Cemetery in Portales, N.M.
Arrangements are by McCoy Funeral Home. He was born May 23, 1914, in Talpa and
had lived in Sweetwater since 1991, moving from Clovis. He was a retired
theater manager and a member of Highland Baptist Church. Survivors include his
wife, Norma Warren of Sweetwater; four sons, Lewis Warren of Waukesha, Wis.,
James Warren of Arvada, Colo., Gary Warren of Piedmont, Mo., and David Warren
of Sweetwater; a daughter, Virginia Bolin of Clovis; two sisters, Mary Aaron
of Clovis and Valta McIntyre of Oklahoma City; a brother, Alton Warren of
Clute; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

SAN SABA - A.C. McDaniel Jr., 75, of Bay City and formerly of San Saba, died
Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, in Bay City. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in Wallace Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Howell-Doran Funeral
Home. He was born March 21, 1922, in San Saba County and had lived in Bay City
for 17 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired stock farmer
and had retired from the Texas State Highway Department. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include an uncle, C.B. Lambert of San Saba, and numerous nieces,
great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

			MELBA OSBURN
BIG SPRING - Melba Maxine Osburn, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, in a local
hospital. Service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood
Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park. She was born Feb. 17, 1917, in
Big Spring. She was a nurse and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors
include a daughter, Sharon Osburn, and a brother, Earl Shank Jr., both of Big
Spring.

			MOODY DURBAN
KINGSLAND - Moody Durban, 84, of Kingsland died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in
Llano. Service will be at 11 a.m. today in Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral
Home Chapel with graveside service at 2 p.m. in North Belton Cemetery in
Belton. He was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Birmingham, Ala., and had lived in
Kingsland for 13 years. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was employed
by American General Life Insurance Co. He was a member of Kingsland Community
Church, the American Legion and the Lions Club. Survivors include his wife,
Martha Durban of Kingsland; a daughter, Sue Durban of Austin; a brother, D.P.
Durban of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, Ruth Staley of Nashville, Tenn.; and
three grandchildren.

			EUMA BUCKLEY
SWEETWATER - Euma Lee Buckley, 95, of Dallas and formerly of Sweetwater, died
Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in Dallas. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday in Bethel Cemetery in Weatherford. Arrangements are by McCoy Funeral
Home. She was born July 8, 1902, in Little Lot, Tenn. She was a member of
First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Lee Kelcher of
Dallas; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and four nieces.

SANTA ANNA - Avise Fox of Mesquite died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in
Carrollton. Service will be at 10 a.m. today at Preston Highlands Baptist
Church in Mesquite with graveside service at 3 p.m. in Rockwood Cemetery in
Rockwood. Arrangements are by Henderson Funeral Home. She was born in Rockwood
and had lived in Mesquite for 32 years. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Hockett of Cottonwood, Ariz., and
Bobbie Gaston of Vienna, Va.; a sister, Jewel Bowden of Lubbock; five
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

LAMPASAS - Hattie Lee Wolfe, 91, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1998, in a local
nursing home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox
Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Townsen Cemetery in Adamsville. She was
born Oct. 1, 1906, in Desdemona. She had owned and operated Wolfe Grocery and
was a member of the Berean Christadelphian Church.
Survivors include a son, Victor Wolfe of Lampasas; three daughters, Joyce
Maxine Connolloy of Adamsville, Esther Mae Porter of Austin and Shirley Ann
Edwards of Burnet; two sisters, Mamie Wilson of Lampasas and Ethel Keeney of
San Angelo; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-
grandchildren.

			JAMES PHILLIPS
ALPINE - James Phillips, 73, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at his residence.
Service will be at 2 p.m. today in Geeslin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in
Elm Grove Cemetery. He was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Valley Springs. A Navy
veteran of World War II, he was ranch manager of 101 Ranch for 35 years and
was a member of the Hereford Association. Survivors include a brother,
Billy Louis Phillips of Big Spring; three sisters, Louise Humphreys and Lois
Durst, both of Mason, and Voilet Durban of San Marcos; and numerous nieces,
nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

			ORA OVERSTREET
LLANO - Ora Dell ``Toad'' Overstreet, 86, of Burnet and formerly of Llano,
died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in Austin. Service will be at 2 p.m. today in
Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Board Branch
Cemetery. She was born June 25, 1911, in Burnet County and had lived in Burnet
for eight years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Daughters of the
Confederacy and First Baptist Church in Llano. Survivors include two
daughters, Bette Overstreet Hunger of Llano and Barbara Overstreet Floyd of
Cameron; three sisters, Clara Dorbandt of Burnet and Virginia Trantham and
Mary Marx, both of Bertram; 12 grandchildren; 24 grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews.

			HAROLD MCCRACKEN
SAN SABA - Harold McCracken, 86, of Houston died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in
Spring Branch. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Howell-Doran Funeral Home
Chapel with burial in Cherokee Cemetery. He was born Aug. 20, 1911, in Decatur
and had lived in Houston since 1991. A retired Navy commander and a veteran of
World War II, he was an attorney and a Methodist. Survivors include his wife,
Florence Cates McCracken of Houston; several nieces and nephews, including
Billy Cates, D.E. Cavness and James Cates, all of Cherokee; and several great-
nieces and great-nephews.

BALLINGER - Emma Fuchs went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 13, 1998.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in
Rowena. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the church with burial in
St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
Emma was born on Feb. 9, 1912, to Otto and Ida Lange in Olfen.
She married Leo Henry Fuchs on June 26, 1934, in Olfen. She was a member of
St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rowena. She belonged to the Altar Society and
choir in Rowena and was a member of the Christian Mothers in Olfen. Her
special joy was being a eucharistic minister and taking Holy Communion to the
sick. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two daughters,
Shirley Ann Buegeler Blair and Dian Marie Fuchs, and one son, Ralph Paul
Fuchs. She is survived by a daughter, Ruby Boutte and husband, Howard
``Buddy,'' of Houston; four sons, Harvey Fuchs and wife, Marcy, of San Angelo,
Leon Fox of Dallas, Norbert Fox and wife, Karen, of Keller and Ray Fox and
wife, Jill, of Midlothian, Va.; two sisters, Dolores Lippe of Muenster and
Arline Hampton of Coarsegold, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-
grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Greg and Todd Fuchs, Brandon,
Brad, Garret and Bill Fox. The family extends a special thanks to the staff of
Baker-Brame for all the love and care they gave Emma. We appreciate all of
you.

Funeral Home.He was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Graham. A Navy veteran of World War

Mildred James, 79, of Mertzon passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, in Shannon

worked for General Telephone as an operator before rotary dial became
available. She was the Irion County treasurer from 1967 until her retirement
in 1987. She was instrumental in organizing the Irion County Museum, the Irion
County Cookbook, the Irion County History Book and the senior citizens weekly
luncheons. She served as treasurer of the Irion County Historical Society and
received several awards from the Texas Historical Commission. Mildred was the
treasurer for the Mertzon Cemetery Association. She loved to quilt and was a
part of the Mertzon Hen House Quilters.She was preceded in death by her
husband, George Vinson James; three sons, Harrel, Claude and Earnest James;
and four brothers, Douglas, Mike, Paul and Jerry Carr.Survivors include a
daughter, Nola Jones and husband, Doug, of Concho County; two daughters-in-
law, Kay James and Roxie James, both of Mertzon; seven grandchildren, Charlie

born Dec. 24, 1909, near Abilene and was a longtime resident of Kermit before

			DIANE MARIE ABEL GOOKIN
Diane Marie Abel Gookin, 54, of San Angelo passed away on the morning of Feb.
16, 1998. Born in Amarillo, Texas, on Dec. 30, 1943, Diane grew up and
attended public school in New Braunfels, Texas, graduating from New Braunfels
High School in 1962. She later attended Angelo State University and graduated
with honors. Her lifetime interest was in education and she specialized
working with special children. At the time of her death, Diane was residing in
San Angelo recuperating from a lengthy illness. Diane was a member of the
Southgate Church of Christ. Diane is survived by a son, Christopher Glenn
Gookin of Kingsville; her mother, Myrtle M. Abel of San Angelo; a sister,
Barbara Carter and husband, James Lee Carter, of San Angelo; brothers, Albert
Charles Abel Jr. and wife, Jeanette Abel, of Eagle Lake and Barry K. Abel and
wife, Carol Abel, of Houston; nieces and nephews, Jeanie Foster Hasty of
Sterling City, Raymond T. Foster Jr. of San Angelo, Laurie Abel of Conroe,
Heater Abel of Houston, Melissa Gibson of Mobile, Ala., and Bary Joseph Abel
of Houston; and a host of friends and cousins. She was preceded in death by
her father, Albert C. Abel. Diane will be missed by all who knew and loved

BALLINGER - Gladys Boswell, 79, of Ballinger died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, at
her residence, surrounded by family and friends. Gladys was born Sept.
29,1918, in Cross Cut to Alvin and Sally (Joiner) West. She married Scott
Boswell on March 5, 1956, in New Mexico. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4,
1989. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in the Rains-
Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Winchester officiating. Burial
will follow in the Paint Rock Cemetery. Gladys owned her own cafe and was also
a homemaker. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in San
Angelo. She was a member of the Methodist church and she loved going fishing.
Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Bicknell of Ballinger; a son, Jerrell
Windham and his wife, Shirley, of Hobbs, N.M.; four grandsons, Ron Bicknell of
Monahans, Don Bicknell Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., Edwin Bicknell of Paint Rock
and Lonnie Breckon of Lubbock; three granddaughters, Evelyn Sawyers of
Flagstaff, Ariz., Lisa Chezenski of Roswell, Ariz., and Jerrie Lee of Hobbs,
N.M.; a brother, Marvin West of Lubbock; two sisters, Minnie Dallas of Crane
and Vernie McMillen of Abilene; six great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter;

Survivors include three sons, George Rogers and Samuel E. Rogers, both of
Llano, and David Rogers of Round Rock; three daughters, Evelyn Oatman of
Llano, Homalyne Kilgore of Cedar Park and Carol Smith of Austin; 25
grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and
numerous nieces and nephews.

KERRVILLE - Arthur J. Strawn, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, in San Antonio.
Service will be at 2 p.m. today at Grimes Funeral Chapels with burial in
Garden of Memories Cemetery. He was born Aug. 29, 1914, in Princeton, Ind.,
and had lived in Kerrville since 1981. He was a master mechanic for the
Goodwin Dairy and Nurseries and a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Marie Strawn of Kerrville; a daughter,
Janice Marilyn Alldaffer of New Braunfels; and a sister, Viola Wilderman of
Princeton.

KERRVILLE - Ruby Norris Yarborough, 84, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, in a
local hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grimes Funeral Chapels
with burial in Glen Rest Cemetery. She was born July 28, 1913, in Medina. She
was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

FREDERICKSBURG - Gertrude Meta Eckert Schumann, 83, of Albert died Tuesday,

She was born Feb. 7, 1915, in Gillespie County. She was a member of the

He was born Nov. 4, 1914, in Merkel and had lived in Lamesa since 1936. He was

Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of Sunrise Beach Baptist Church, the
Herman's Sons Lodge, Communications Workers of America and the Southwestern
Bell Pioneer Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana Parker of Sunrise Beach; a son, Raymond
Carroll Anderson of Houston; a sister, JoAnne Irwin; a brother, W.B. Irwin;

She was born March 4, 1938, in Big Spring and was a lifetime resident. She had

sons, Luis Moreno and Juan Moreno Jr., both of Big Spring, and Ernesto Moreno

LEVELLAND - Funeral services for Raymond Hoffman, 83, of Levelland, were at 2
p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, in the Geo. C. Price Funeral Chapel with Mike
Riley, minister of the Avenue B Church of Christ in Ballinger officiating.
Burial was in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
He died at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, in Methodist Hospital in Levelland.
He was born June 6, 1914, in Paint Rock. He moved to Levelland in 1996 from
Ballinger. He moved to Ballinger in 1973 from Morton, where he had lived since
1942. He was married to Ruth Reed on Aug. 17, 1935, in Lamesa. He taught
Sunday school in Whiteface, Sundown and Ballinger. He taught at a GI Welding
School for veterans following World War II.
He owned and operated Hoffman's Welding Shop in Morton from 1947 until 1959.
He farmed at Lehman in the early 1940s and farmed at Girlstown for 13 years.
He was a member of the Avenue B Church of Christ in Ballinger.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hoffman of Levelland; two sons, Raymond Lynn
Hoffman of McCamey and Kirby Thomas Hoffman of Canyon; three daughters, Bette
Akin of Levelland and Marla Hanna and Marvalene Hoffman, both of Lubbock; a
brother, Claude Hoffman of Gatesville; two sisters, Olivia Hieman of Austin
and Shirley Gentry of Paint Rock; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-
grandchildren.

ROBERT LEE - Joann Runnion, 59, passed away Feb. 18, 1998, at her residence.

Joann was born Oct. 8, 1938, in Rural Shade, Texas, and was raised in
Kerns,Texas. She married Arthur Runnion on Sept. 4, 1959, in Kerns. They moved
to Robert Lee in 1966. Joann was a U.S. Postal employee and a homemaker. She
was active in community affairs and a member of the Methodist Church. She also
was a member of the Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi and West Coke County
Community Development Board.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Runnion of Robert Lee; one son and
daughter-in-law, Robert and Kristie Runnion of San Angelo; one daughter and

			EMMA LEE MOSS-HORNE
Emma Lee Moss-Horne, beloved wife of James Horne and longtime resident of San
Angelo, passed away in her 82nd year after a lengthy illness. Though self-
taught, Emma Lee was widely renowned as a leading folk artist. Her distinctive
and colorful style portrayed much of her own rural family life, amongst
Tennessee cotton fields. Her many honors included congratulatory proclamations
by the governors of Tennessee and Texas. Her works have hung in the Texas
Capitol building and also the Washington Smithsonian Institution. Memorial
donations may be made to Hospice of San Angelo.

			NANCY HENSON WRIGHT
Nancy Wright, 55, of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998,
following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 14, 1942, to
Burney and Edna Henson.She was preceded in death by her husband, James D.
Wright, and her parents. Nancy last worked for SITEL Corp. as a quality-
assurance representative. Her time at SITEL was a special part of her life.She
is survived by her sons, Tommy Clark and wife, Tonya, of Odessa and Roger
Clark and wife, Deanna, of San Angelo; a daughter, Jennifer Clark of

HARLINGEN - Peter B. Durham, 78, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, in Valley
Baptist Medical Center.Peter was born July 26, 1919, in Wells. He graduated
from high school at Terell Military Academy and from the University of Texas.
He served in World War II as a bombardier-navigator and was in the European
Theatre for three years. After the war, he relocated to Harlingen, where he
opened an insurance agency. He married the former Robbie Breedlove of
Harlingen on Aug. 12, 1947.In 1949, Peter joined a college roommate, Jack
Boren, in the insurance business in Lubbock, where he resided until 1996. He
was active in business until his death, having been in the lumber and
construction business for more than 40 years.He is survived by his wife,
Robbie, of Harlingen and Cuernavaca, Mexico; four daughters, Julie Hammer of
San Angelo, Jill Gruenwald of Dallas, Polly Claypool of Houston and Sally
Schwabe of San Antonio; and five grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his
parents; and his sisters, Eva Durham and Sue Coneway.A memorial service will
be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Texas Room at Golden Palms.

Christopher Thomas Marquez, 27, of San Angelo went to be with our Lord
Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, in a local hospital.Chris was born March 3, 1970, in
Big Spring, Texas.Chris is survived by his wife, Linda, and his ``little
boy,'' Logan. His parents are Saul and Olga Marquez of San Angelo; and his
brother, Joseph; his two sisters, Crystal and Tyna Mejia; and his brother-in-
law, Rolando Mejia, also survive. Chris also is survived by John and Lydia
Vasquez of Stamford, David Vasquez, Edward Vasquez and family and Michael
Vasquez and family, all of Stamford; and by his maternal grandparents, Luis
and Virginia Mancha. He had numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and
nephews; and three very special friends, Ray Martinez of Big Spring, Robert
Buchanan of Lubbock and Fernando Fuentes of San Angelo.Chris was met in heaven
by his brother, Saul Jr., and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Pilar
Marquez.He lived most of his life in Big Spring, Texas, where he attended
Forsan High School and achieved all-district Honors, while playing football.
His heart will always belong to the Forsan Buffaloes.Chris moved to San Angelo
seven years ago and was employed by the San Angelo State School as an active
treatment provider. He was loved and had many friends.Chris will be greatly
missed by his family, his friends and his patients at the state school.Prayer

ALPINE - Octavia Maldonado Fuentes, 90, of Sanderson died Thursday, Feb. 19,

Morelos, Mexico, and was a longtime resident of Sanderson. She was a member of

Garden of Memories Cemetery.She was born Aug. 15, 1907, in Kerrville. She was

BAY CITY - Bonny Joyce (Yonan) Engwer, 43, died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998.Service

Hawley Cemetery.She was born in San Angelo and had been a longtime resident of
Bay City. She was a teacher.Survivors include her husband, David Engwer of Bay

SANTA ANNA - George Bell, 65, of Santa Anna died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998, in

Funeral Home.He was born July 6, 1932, in Dallas and had been a resident of
Atlanta before moving to Santa Anna. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a
salesman and worked in transportation at the Atlanta airport. He was a

George Bell Jones of Atlanta; a daughter, Georgeanna Bowman of Columbia, Mo.;
two brothers, Glenn Bell of Houston and Howard Bell of Blanchard, Okla.; three

Warren of Lanning, N.J.; and a grandchild.

MENARD - Carroll Brooks Powell, 74, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998, in a local

and was a lifetime resident. He was a retired heavy equipment

7, 1908, in Llano and was a lifetime resident. An Army veteran of World War

was born May 3, 1908, in Coryell County. She was a homemaker, a seamstress and

1998, in a local hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile

born Nov. 28, 1943, in Abilene and had lived in the Fort Stockton area since

			DANIEL McKNIGHT
ROCKSPRINGS - Daniel McKnight of Rocksprings died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998, in
Kerrville.He was born Jan. 3, 1910, at his parent's farm on Bean's Creek in
Cherokee County to Benjamin Eli McKnight and Madie Ford McKnight. After his
mothers' death that spring, Dan, his father and sister, Elizabeth, made their
home with his grandparents, Martha Acker and James MacPherson Berrian
McKnight.He graduated from high school in Troup and attended North Texas
College and Baylor College of Pharmacy. He was a member of Phi Delta Chi and
graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy.He
married Bonita Eleanor Nipper Jan. 19, 1936, in Brackettville. They lived in
Beaumont, Robstown, San Antonio, Uvalde and Brackettville before moving to
Rocksprings May 1, 1945, with sons Dan Weston and Robert Donaldson. Another
son, Charles Theodore, and a daughter, Bonita Sue, were born after that
move.Mr. and Mrs. McKnight, both registered pharmacists, owned and operated
McKnight Pharmacy until 1977. The corner drugstore had the only pharmacy and
the only soda fountain for 50 miles in any direction.Often, the store opened
after hours to dispense medicine, frequently veterinary supplies.``Mac'' loved
to reminisce that the first penicillin he dispensed was for a sick Quarter
Horse.In 1957, Gov. Price Daniel appointed Dan to the State Board of Pharmacy.
He represented pharmacy on the ``committee of '75'' made up of state leaders
in their fields who planned the University of Texas' 75th anniversary
celebration in 1958. As a member of that committee, he was an honorary adviser
to the Centennial Commission for the 1983's 100th anniversary. Mr. McKnight
was a lifetime member of the Texas Ex-Student's Association and active in the
Texas Pharmaceutical Association including terms as director and delegate to
the national organization A.Ph.A. He was a member of NARD, San Antonio Alzafar
Shrine, Lions International and a 32nd degree Mason over 50 years in
Rocksprings Lodge and Scottish Rite.Dan's civic positions included
Brackettville school board, Rocksprings school board, American Cancer Society
and Rocksprings City Council.He was a longtime member of the Methodist Church,
a conference delegate, lay leader and on the administrative board of
Rocksprings First United Methodist Church.Mrs. McKnight preceded her husband
of 62 years in death on Jan. 17, 1998.Survivors include Dan W. ``Tuck'' and
Sue McKnight of Layton, Utah, Bob McKnight of Houston, Ted and Rhonda McKnight
of Austin and Bill and Nita Thedford of McKinney; grandchildren, Kenny and
Whitney Myers of San Angelo, Hadra McKnight of San Angelo, Betsy, Ellie and
Marty Thedford of McKinney; great-grandson, Lane Myers of San Angelo; sister-
in-law, Dorothy Jean Nipper Arnette of San Antonio; cousin, Emma Schmidt
Somerville of Henderson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.Service
will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at First United Methodist Church in
Rocksprings with Masonic graveside service in Rocksprings Cemetery. Pastor
