Kennedale – June W. Chapman, 87, passed away Tuesday,
March 1, 2005, at an Arlington hospital.

Funeral:  10 a.m., Friday in Blessing Colonial Chapel,
Mansfield.  Burial followed in Emerald Hills Memorial
Park, Kennedale.

June was born May 25, 1917, in Jester, Oklahoma, the
daughter of William Ernest and Bessie Keesee Winters. 


She was a longtime resident of Kennedale and a member
of the First Baptist Church in Kennedale.  She loved
to read.  She was an educator for 35 years,
specializing with children with Down syndrome.  June
attended Waylan Baptist College and received her B.S.
degree from Texas Christian University, and her master
degree from Texas A&M.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Clark
Chapman, March 19, 1994.

Survivors:  Sister, Edith Tramel; brothers, Paul
Winters, John Winters, Eugene Winters, and Ollie
Winters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
