   Rebecca Talamantez Morin Gloria
   OLTON - Rebecca Talamantez Morin Gloria, 61, died Saturday, Jan. 18,
   1997, in Plainview.
   
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Living Faith Christian Church
   with the Rev. Valentine Martinez, pastor, officiating. Burial will be
   at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Magdalene Cemetery at Brackettville.
   Arrangements are by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home.
   
   Mrs. Gloria was born in Brackettville and moved to Olton in 1953. She
   married Rudy Gloria in 1955 at Olton. She was a homemaker and attended
   Living Faith Christian Church.
   
   Survivors include her husband; a brother, Ruben Morin of San Jose,
   Calif.; and two sisters, Rosa Rodriquez of Hereford and Ester Morin
   Saldivar of Olton.
   
   The body will be available for viewing at Living Faith Christian
   Church until service time.
   
   Rosetta Castleberry
   PAMPA - Rosetta Castleberry, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral
   Directors Colonial Chapel with Dr. Jim Prock, pastor of First Baptist
   Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
   
   Mrs. Castleberry was born in McIntosh County, Okla. She had been a
   resident of Pampa since 1976, moving from White Deer. She also was a
   former resident of Perryton.
   
   She had been married to Richard Castleberry for 17 years. She was a
   homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
   
   Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Shirley Nunnelley of
   Pritchett and Carol Sossamon of Arlington; a son, Robert D. Brown of
   Lewisville; a brother, Gene McCoy of Shawnee, Okla.; a sister, Dovie
   Hernandez of McAllister, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and seven
   great-grandchildren.
   
   The family requests memorials be to the American Lung Association.
   
   Howard Eugene Taylor
   CLAUDE - Howard Eugene Taylor, 76, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997.
   
   Cremation was Monday at Memorial Park Crematory in Amarillo. Memorial
   services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Robertson
   Funeral Directors Inc. of Clarendon.
   
   Mr. Taylor was born in Balko, Okla., and had lived in Armstrong County
   since 1926. He was a graduate of Claude High School and an Army
   veteran of World War II. He had been a farmer most of his life and a
   member of the Church of Christ.
   
   Survivors include a sister, Ninva Kay Bell of Camarillo, Calif.
   
   Jo Caryl Mace
   CLARENDON - Jo Caryl Mace, 60, a former Clarendon area resident, died
   Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, in Sumter, S.C.
   
   Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday in Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home
   Chapel at Sumter with the Rev. Carol Rawlinson and the Rev. Jerry
   Watson officiating. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. today in
   Citizens Cemetery at Clarendon with the Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor of
   Martin Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson
   Funeral Directors Inc.
   
   Miss Mace was born in Lelia Lake and raised in the Ashtola community
   near Clarendon. She had lived in Sumter most of her adult life. She
   was employed by Young's Food Stores in Sumter for many years and had
   been a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Sumter.
   
   Survivors include her foster mother, Alice Jeanette Peebles of Gable,
   S.C.
   
   The family requests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association,
   South Carolina Affiliate, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 311, Columbia,
   S.C. 29204-0000.
   
   Trenton Ray Winter-Hunt
   WHEELER - Trenton Ray Winter-Hunt, 2-month-old son of Kimberly Winter
   and Shawn Hunt, both of Briscoe, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Country Chapel with the
   Rev. Rodney Weatherly, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler
   Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
   
   Trenton was born in Pampa.
   
   Survivors include his parents; a sister, Tracy Winter of the home;
   grandparents, Shelia and Billy Umsted of Wheeler and Cathy and Melvin
   Hunt of Briscoe; and great-grandparents, Hazel and Curtis Hendrix of
   Okmulgee, Okla., Lurena and Marvin Umsted of Delhigh, Okla., and L.D.
   and Wanda Childress of Briscoe.
   
   Bernice Reed
   HEREFORD - Bernice Reed, 70, died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel
   with Ted Taylor, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in West Park
   Cemetery.
   
   Ms. Reed was born in McAlister and had been a Hereford resident most
   of her life. She was a farmer's wife and had been an activity director
   for Golden Plains and Westgate Nursing Home.
   
   Survivors include a son, Sparky Stephens of Hereford; a grandson; and
   a great-grandson.
   
   The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
   
   Winford Glenn Downs
   FRITCH - Winford Glenn Downs, 50, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Southern Baptist Church
   with the Rev. Kerry Finley, pastor of Victory Baptist Church in
   Stinnett, officiating. Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
   
   Mr. Downs was born in Wellington. He had been a Fritch resident for
   eight years, moving from Borger. He was a cowboy and a member of the
   Church of Christ at Borger.
   
   He married Carol Davis in 1968 at Pampa. He was preceded in death by a
   son.
   
   Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert David Rigo of Spokane,
   Wash., and Daniel O. Rigo and Shane Downs, both of Fritch; two
   daughters, Deanna Poe of Fritch and Elaine Maupin of Cordell, Okla.;
   his mother, Gladys Downs of Borger; a brother, J.R. Downs of Kentucky;
   a sister, Janice Newman of Borger; and 14 grandchildren.
   
   Tom Podzemny
   TEXLINE - Tom Podzemny, 34, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997.
   
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. (MST) Wednesday in St. Francis Xavier
   Catholic Church at Clayton, N.M., by Louis Montoya, deacon. Following
   a private Mass, graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. (CST)
   Thursday in Texline Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Guidry, pastor of St.
   Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral
   Directors of Clayton.
   
   Mr. Podzemny was born in Canyon. He attended school at Canyon and
   Amarillo until 1975 when they moved to the Sedan, N.M., area. He
   graduated from Clayton High School in 1980.
   
   He had been a trained mechanic and a professional truck driver for the
   past seven years.
   
   Survivors include his parents, Eugene and Phyllis Podzemny of Sedan;
   three sisters, Beverly Beauchamp and Karla Jesko, both of Sedan, and
   Jana Genzel of Puyallup, Wash.; five brothers, Jeffery Podzemny of
   Ashland, Kan., Randall Podzemny and Raymond Podzemny, both of Sedan,
   Mark Podzemny of Wilsall, Mont., and Doug Podzemny of Albuquerque,
   N.M.; and a grandmother, Phyllis Podzemny of Amarillo.

   Norman Maurice Perkins
   Norman Maurice Perkins, 66, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997.
   
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery with the
   Rev. Jim Gianoutsos, pastor of Amarillo Bible Church, officiating.
   Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia
   Circle.
   
   Mr. Perkins was born and raised in Phillips and had lived in Amarillo
   since 1950. He graduated from Phillips High School in 1949 and
   attended Amarillo College and West Texas State University.
   
   He was a veteran of the Air Force and a member of Amarillo Bible
   Church. He had owned and operated an investment business.
   
   Survivors include a sister, Marlene Ann Smedley of Port Ludlow, Wash.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box
   1890, Amarillo, Texas, 79174-0001.
   
   Alma Clement
   Alma Clement, 91, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1997.
   
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Plymouth Community
   Cemetery in the Plymouth community with the Rev. Dean Driver of
   Samnorwood Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by
   Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.
   
   Mrs. Clement was one of the Texas Pioneer Women. She lived in the
   Plymouth community before moving to Amarillo 23 years ago. She was a
   homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Clement.
   
   Survivors include two daughters, Willie Brashears of Amarillo and Leta
   Leighnor of Fairmont, Okla.; four grandchildren; and seven
   great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Bivins Memorial Nursing Home.
   
   Clarence Victor Musick Jr.
   Clarence Victor Musick Jr., 61, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 19,
   1997.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum
   Chapel with the Rev. Larry Richardson of Palisades Fellowship Baptist
   Church officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by
   Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin
   Road.
   
   Mr. Musick was born in Muncie, Ind., and moved to Amarillo in 1987. He
   drove a truck for Graft Trucking.
   
   Survivors include his wife, Lucille; three sons, Dewayne Musick,
   Robert Musick and Tony Musick, all of Amarillo; three daughters, Diana
   Musick, Teresa Johnson and Deborah Strader, all of Amarillo; a
   brother, Charles "Buddy" Musick of Muncie; a sister, Sharlyn K. Barber
   of Hendersonville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
   
   The family will be at 3800 N.E. 23rd Ave.
   
   O.C. Vaughan
   O.C. "Streak" Vaughan, 87, of the Palisades, died Sunday, Jan. 19,
   1997.
   
   Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Coulter Road Baptist Church with
   Dr. Larry Payne, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3
   p.m. (CST) in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, five miles south of San Jon,
   N.M. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615
   Paramount Blvd.
   
   Mr. Vaughan was born in Noble, Okla., and lived in New Mexico as a
   young man. He was a truck driver and a cowboy while in New Mexico. He
   moved to Amarillo in 1948.
   
   After moving to Amarillo, he was a truck driver for the Whittenburg
   Estate. He was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church.
   
   He married Pearl Robinson in 1940 at Memphis.
   
   Survivors include his wife; a son, Jimmy Vaughan of Woodland Park,
   Colo.; a daughter, Mary Jean Penny of Canyon; a sister, Clara Stewart
   of Antlers, Okla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
   
   Jimmie D. Ellis
   Jimmie D. Ellis, 64, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home
   Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Tom Black of
   Summitt Baptist Church and Royce Mason of Amarillo officiating. Burial
   will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
   
   Mrs. Ellis was born in Stonewall, Okla. She moved to Amarillo in 1953
   from Modesto, Calif. She married Robert W. Ellis in 1956 at Amarillo.
   She was a homemaker and a member of Summitt Baptist Church.
   
   Survivors include her husband; two sons, David A. Ellis of Amarillo
   and Curtis G. Ellis of Summerville, Ga.; six sisters, Iva Walters of
   Amarillo, Ina Kight of Locksburg, Ark., Ira Dean of Modesto, Lela
   Huntsinger of Mankato, Kan., Lena Lewis of Ambler, Pa., and Johnnie
   Griffith of Seattle.; and two grandchildren.
   
   The family requests memorials be to Summitt Baptist Church or Faith
   City Mission.
   
   Rosalie White
   Rosalie White, 65, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home
   Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Robert Field,
   chaplain at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center,
   officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery's Garden of Mt.
   Aaron.
   
   Mrs. White was born in Collingsworth County and attended Samnorwood
   schools. She moved to Amarillo in 1944 from Dozier. She married Roy
   Melton White in 1950 at Amarillo. He died in 1974.
   
   She was a waitress and a member of the ladies auxiliary of the
   Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a Baptist.
   
   Survivors include two daughters, Martha Fern Davis of Beaumont and
   Ruby Jean Burney of Amarillo; four brothers, B.F. Essary, Buck Essary
   and J.C. Essary, all of Amarillo, and Marvin Essary of Houston; two
   sisters, Margie Carpenter of Amarillo and Lucille Dudley of Cortez,
   Colo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
