 Dewitt County}Whereas upon Information and complaint being made to the
Honorable Judge of Probate Court of said county in vacation that Jasper
L. Gilbert refuses to Administer upon the Estate of his late wife Sarah
E. Gilbert Deceased. It is therefore ordered by the court that the clerk
make publication on the Same. This is therefore to notify all persons
interested in said Estate that unless the said Jasper L. Gilbert comes
forward and abstain Lettler of Administration upon said Estate at the
next term of Probate Court to be held on the last Monday in July It
being the 26th day of july 1847 At the court House in the town of
Cameron in Said county Letter of Administration upon said Estate will

person or citizen of Dewitt County aforesaid All person interested may
attend at said time and place If they think Proper

filed a Petition with the Honorable Probate Judge of said county In
Vacation Praying to be appointed guardian to the minor heirs of him and
his wife Sarah E. Gilbert deceased Namely Pleasant L. Gilbert and
Bartley S. Gilbert under the age of 14 years. This is to notify all
persons Interested in Said Petition to attend at the Court House in the
town of Cameron on the Last Monday in September 1847 It being the 27th
day of said month and the Regular Term of Probate Court as said Petition
will be acted upon

said county to appear before the Honorable James M. Baker Judge of
Probate Court of said county at the July term of said county to be held
on the last Monday in July-it being the 26th day of July 1847 At the
Courthouse in the town of Cameron in Dewitt County aforesaid Then and
there to shew cause if any why he refuses to obtain Lettlers of
Administration upon the Estate of his late wife Sarah E. Gilbert
deceased Herein fail not and have you then and there the word.

                   Honorable R.B. Wofford Judge of Probate
                  
                _?__ Petitioner would___?____represent unto your
Honorable Court that WP Patterson has as executor of A. Lockhart Deed
fail to make such transfers to him as guardian of the heirs of Sarah E.
Gilbert as they by the law are entitled to their share. Your petitioner
would pray that this protest may be entered against the final settlement
of W.P. Patterson as executor of said conveyence in duty bound your
Petitioner would ever pray.
