  WEIMER
  
  Alton R. Weimer Sr., 94, of Somerset died Nov. 9, 2000 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 12, 1906 in Listie, he is the son of the late
  Tobias R. and Annie Alfretta (Walker) Weimer.  Also preceded in death
  by his wife Clarissa (McNeal) Weimer; brothers: Charles, Russ and
  Ralph, and sisters, Jenny Grasser, Ruth Cole and Ada Swank.  Survived
  by children: Mrs. Elvin (Frances) Lease of Friedens and Alton R.
  Weimer Jr., married to the former Marie E. Weimer of Meyersdale. 
  Also four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight
  great-grandchildren.  Member of the Fireman's and Oilers Union. 
  Lifetime member of the Eagles Aerie 1801 and was an avid baseball
  player.  Retired mechanist for B&O Railroad.  Friends received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a
  service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. George Walton
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 918 Tayman
  Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
