  SPERRY
  
  James David Sperry, 76, Meyersdale, died March 19, 1988 at his
  home.  Born Aug. 6, 1911 in Meyersdale, son of the late Henry Clay
  and Josephine (Bollinger) Sperry.  Survived by wife, the former Ruth
  L. Baker; a brother, Robert R. Sperry, Ridgeley, W.Va.; and two
  sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Porter, Cumberland, and Mrs. Mary Ann Abare,
  Silver Springs,[sic] Md.  Veteran of U.S. Army World War II.  Member
  of VFW Post 3504.  Retired from Baker Chevrolet Co., Meyersdale with
  48 years of service.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Monday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m.  Tuesday, Pastor James L. Fish Jr. and Pastor
  Robert Robertson officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
