"Red Cap" 07/11/05 Daily American Robert W. "Red Cap" Sehn, 83, Hooversville, died July 10, 2005, at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born May 12, 1922, son of Edward and Margaret (Fleegle) Sehn. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Flora C. (Labarko) Sehn and two sisters. Survived by children: Delores Foust, Boswell; Carolyn Dale, married to James, Berlin; Robert Sehn Jr. married to Regina, Alpena, Mich.; Ronald Sehn, married to Sue, Folmont; Margaret Tunstall, Rockwood; Flora Walker, married to Reuben, North Carolina and Randy Sehn, married to Judy, Somerset; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Member of Hooversville VFW. Veteran of World War II Army Infantry where he was wounded in action at Battle of the Bulge. Purple Heart recipient. Bethlehem Steel certified welder with more than 33 years of service. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. The Rev. M.D. Herring officiating. Interment, Lambertsville Cemetery with military graveside rite. Memorial contributions may be sent to Somerset County Animal Shelter.
