  RINGER
  
  Robert W. Ringer, 88, of Hyndman, formerly of Rockwood, died March
  30, 1998, at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.  Born Dec. 20,
  1909, in Rockwood.  Son of the late Elmer Jacob and Annie (Knopsnyder)
  Ringer.  On May 21, 1929, he married Mary Catherine Bockes, who died
  April 25, 1986.  He is survived by two sons, Robert F. of Longmont,
  Colo, and Floyd W. "Bill" of Port Matilda, Pa; a daughter, Lois Jean
  Klink of Bedford, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
  Worked in construction until his retirement in 1974.  He then
  developed an avid interest in electronics and computers.  Friends will
  be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, the time of service, at the
  Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman.  Interment, IOOF Cemetery at
  Rockwood.
