  PHILLIPPI
  
  Robert Ross Phillippi, 76, Fort Hill, died Sept. 1, 1986, in
  Uniontown Hospital.  Born May 4, 1910, in Ursina, son of late Christ
  and Ida Mae (Gower) Phillippi.  Survived by two daughters: Marie Gay
  Phillippi, at home; and Mrs. Nancy Lytle, Confluence RD 3; son,
  Robert R. Jr., Markleton RD 1; five grandchildren and one
  great-grandchild.  Preceded in death by wife, Amanda (McClintock)
  Phillippi, two infant children, and sister, Christine Dwire.  Retired
  from General Refractories, with 26 years service.  Friends received at
  Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and
  10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, the time of service, the Rev. Nevin Umbel
  officiating.  Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
