   Robert J. (R.J.) Maust, 89, Berlin, died Feb. 1, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec.
  30, 1916, in Berlin, a son of Francis A. and Mary (Coleman) Maust. Preceded in death by
  parents; his wife, Betty Lou (Hoppert); brothers, Donald, Ward and Eugene; and sisters,
  Pauline Walker and Marion Hittie. Survived by children David (Joyce) Maust, Berlin;
  Doretta (Greg) Gardner, Berlin; Danny (Kimberly) Maust, Tionesta; Dale Maust (Michele),
  Berlin; Daphne Maust (Randy), Berlin; Deneen (James) Baer, Friedens; grandchildren,
  Angela, Zachary, Rachael, Jeremy, Jennifer, Carrie, Benjamin, Landon, Desmond, Danyial
  and Millie; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Cameron, Sydney, Edwin, Darin and Jonas;
  and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by a brother, Dwight (Marjorie) Maust,
  Berlin; and sisters, Ella Hittie, Berlin; Evelyn Ringler, Berlin; and Ruth Menear,
  Shanksville. RJ was a farmer and a truck driver for Maust Brothers. He was a member of
  the Tri-County Pony, Horse and Mule Pulling Association. Family will receive friends from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a funeral service
  will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ralph Landis and the Rev. Robert Hauger
  officiating. Interment Berlin IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions
  may be made to ÒIn TouchÓ Hospice, 223 S. Pleasant Ave. Suite 103, Somerset, PA 15501 or
  the American Cancer Society 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501.
