  LAZIER
  
  George I. Lazier, 57, of 220 Main Street, Boswell, died unexpectedly
  Feb. 26, 1979, at home.  Born Sept. 12, 1921, in Jerome, a son of
  Michael and Anna (Krivanich) Lazier.  Preceded in death by parents. 
  Survived by stepmother, Mrs. Christine Lazier of Friedens RD 2;
  widow, the former Lenore Myers; and these daughters: Georgia Ann,
  wife of Robert R. Mahl of Westerly, Rhode Island; Shirley, wife of
  Robert Kamp of Canton, Ohio; Donna, wife of Donald York of Troy, Pa.;
  June and Lori, both at home; and Debbie, wife of Thomas St. Clair of
  Boswell; also 11 grandchildren.  Brother of: Mike and Nick Shesko,
  both of Boswell RD 1; Charles Shesko of Johnstown; Mary, wife of the
  Rev. Andrew Kertis of McKeesport; Frank Lazier of Boswell RD 1; and
  Betty Ann, wife of Chester Staffy of Edison, New Jersey.  He was a
  member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle; Jenner Rod and Gun Club;
  Somerset Beagle Club; and the UMWA.  He was also a Marine Corps
  veteran of World War II and an employee of the GM&W Coal Company,
  Jennerstown.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev.
  Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
