    Robert Richard Davis, 75, Somerset, died May 17, 2008, at The Patriot, Somerset. Born
  May 12, 1933, in Somerset,  the son of Earl and Ferne Elizabeth (Pritts) Davis.
  Preceded  in death by parents; first wife, the former Elsie Edith "Toots"  Harkcom, who
  died May 7, 2004; daughter, Bonnie Kay Davis; and brother, Freddie Davis. Survived by
  wife, the former Ruby Mae Landis, to whom he was married 3 years; stepchildren, Mrs. Ken
  (LouAnn) Bowersox, Friedens; Roger Leer and wife, Gwen, Rockwood; Randy Leer and wife,
  Susan, Somerset; Rick Leer and wife, Susan, Somerset; Ron Leer, Carlisle; Mrs. Terry
  (Carol) Rhodes, Berlin; and Robert Leer, Friedens;  step grandchildren, Matthew, Joelle,
  Jessica, Justin, Jonathan and Brandon; step great-grandson, Ethan;  sisters and brother,
  Gloria Miller, Somerset; Mrs.  Joseph (Kay) Slope, Somerset; and Guy Davis. 1952 
  graduate of Somerset High School. He retired with the  U.S. Army as a veteran of Vietnam
  with 22 years of  service. He also worked and retired from Rockwood  Manufacturing. Bob
  was a member of Berachah  Baptist Church. He also enjoyed sports, fishing, hunting and
  woodworking. Friends received from  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset.  Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at  Berachah
  Baptist Church, Somerset. The Rev. Dr. Dale Lyzbicki officiating. Interment, Middlecreek
  Cemetery. Contributions may be given to Medi Home Hospice or Berachah Baptist Church, 134
  Romas Road, Somerset, PA 15501. Military graveside rites accorded  By the Somerset County
