    Louise "Kitty" (Spiker) Berkey, 80, Berkey Road, Jenner Township, died May
  15, 2008, at home. Born April 21, 1928, in Jenners, daughter of Joseph R. and
  Anna J. (Gardner) Spiker. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert P.
  Berkey on Sept. 8, 1997; sisters, Agnes Spiker, Frieda Turner and Anna Mosky;
  and brothers, Richard, Robert and Jake Spiker. Survived by sons, Robert R.,
  married to Sue Barnick,  and David L., married to Tina Sturtz, both of Jenner
  Township; grandchildren, Lori, married to Brandon Kishlock; Jodi, married to
  Eric Sullivan; Denise,  married to Douglas Stupka; Brad, married to Jennifer
  Geisel; and Kevin, married to Jamie Higgins; great- grandchildren, Christian,
  Braxton, Elijah, Isaac and Ava; sister, Pauline Yost, Baltimore;
  brothers-in-law, Robert Turner, Jenner Township; and Pete Mosky Sr.,  Jenners;
  and sister-in-law, Evelyn Spiker, Baltimore.  Member of Jenner Township Baptist
  Church, where  she had served as treasurer for 28 years. Also member  of Trinity
  Chapter 138 Order of Eastern Star, Somerset.  Life member of Boswell Area
  Historical Society.  Along with her husband and brother-in-law, Donald  Berkey,
  was co-founder of Berkey Excavating, now  operated by her sons. Viewing from 2
  to 4 and  7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services,
  409 Main St., Boswell,  where OES memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. 
  Saturday. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.  Sunday at the funeral home.
  The Rev. Edward Heist  officiating. Interment Jenner Township Baptist 
  Cemetery. Memorials to Jenner Township Baptist  Cemetery Fund in care of Katie
  Durst, 182 Watson  St., Johnstown, PA 15905, would be appreciated.
