  BENEDICT  
  
  Anna Benedict, 73, of West Main Street, Somerset, died April 10, 1977, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 6, 1903, in Bethlehem, Pa., a
  daughter of Charles and Louise Skaptuckas.  Preceded in death by parents,
  an infant son, husband Harry "Pope", two brothers, Pete and Frank, and two
  sisters, Josephine and Mary.  Survived by these children:  Louise Colmer,
  Ridgley, W.Va.; Mrs. Josephine Miller, Somerset; Leo, Detroit, Mich.;
  Cecelia Sprock, Rector; and Marie Ackerman, Bowie, Md.; 11 grandchildren
  and 10 great-grandchildren.  These brothers and sisters:  Tille Uncks,
  Pittsburgh; Charles Carver, Somerset RD 7; Tony and John Carver, both of
  Detroit, Mich.; Arthur Carver, New Orleans, La.; and Robert Carver,
  Washington.  She was a member of Somerset congregation of Jehovah's
  Witnesses.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. (today) Monday in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1:30
  p.m. Wednesday with Speaker Robert R. Stufft.  Interment, Beams Church
  Cemetery.
