  Marie L. Meredith MT. GRETNA Marie L. Meredith died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, in 
  her residence. She was the wife of Thomas R. Meredith, to whom she was married 
  67 years. She was born on August 16, 1919, in Bethlehem, daughter of the late 
  William N. and Sara Keiper Yearick. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, 
  Bethlehem, and continued her education at Kutztown State Teachers College. She 
  was employed in the adult education system of the New Jersey public schools for 
  10 years before retiring to Mt. Gretna, where she had spent every summer until 
  her college years. Marie was a member of the Mt. Gretna United Methodist 
  Church, the Winterites, the Mt. Gretna Area Historical Society, the Cornwall 
  Manor Society, and volunteered with many of the Mt. Gretna summer activities. 
  She enjoyed gardening, the theater, and sharing with her family the wild 
  flowers, birds, and animals of Mt. Gretna. In addition to her husband, she is 
  survived her daughter, Judy, wife of Robert Grinwis of Downingtown; son, Thomas 
  E. and wife, Beth Harrington Meredith of Scotch Plains, N.J.; grandchildren, 
  Patrick, Kaitlyn, and Bryan Meredith of Scotch Plains, Wayne Grinwis of 
  Downingtown, Matt Grinwis of Chester Springs, and Betsy Grinwis Fortune, wife 
  of Dennis Fortune of Rixeyville, Va.; great-grandchildren, Mia and Nate 
  Fortune; her sister, Imogene Yearick Miller, wife of Donald Miller of 
  Selingsgrove; a niece and nephew; and her lifelong childhood friend, Gerry 
  Pomeroy Brown. At her request, a graveside service will be held at Indiantown 
  Gap National Cemetery on Thursday, April 22, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff 
  Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill 17011.
