  Robert R. Budy
  
  Robert R. Budy, 80, of Lebanon died Saturday, August 16, 2008, as a result of 
  an automobile accident. He was the husband of Thelma I. Poorman Budy. He was 
  born in Lebanon, son of the late Anthony and Mary Manhart Budy. He was a member 
  of Lebanon High School Class of 1946. He was formerly employed by the Lebanon 
  Steel Foundry for over 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Robert was 
  a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and the Steel Workers Union. He was a 
  volunteer at the VA Hospital, Salvation Army, and the YMCA. Robert was 
  instrumental in the environmental clean up of the city of Lebanon. He enjoyed 
  playing sports, which included football, softball and bowling. One of his 
  favorite past times was playing the ponies at Penn National Race Course. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Claudia A., wife of Calvin 
  Chappel of Palmyra, Robin M. Lang of Bethel, Toni M., wife of Duane Dunmire of 
  Jonestown; six grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; sister Blanche 
  Underkofler of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in 
  death by brothers Anthony and Joseph Budy; sister Josephine Keener. Graveside 
  services Friday, 10 a.m., at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In 
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. 
  Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042; and Hospice of Good Samaritan Hospital, 202 
  Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc. handled the 
  arrangements.
