Marie L. Turiano 

  Marie L. Turiano, 48, of 612 W. 18th St., Tyrone died Sunday, 
September 2, 2007 at 7:45 p.m. at Altoona Regional Health System- 
Altoona Hospital Campus. 
  She was born December 17, 1958 in Tyrone a daughter of Joseph D. and 
Carol (Hicks) Ashcroft. She was first married to Jeffrey L. Beckwith in 
1977. He died in November 1979. She then was married to Stephen P. 
Turiano on October 10, 1987 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone. 
  Surviving are her husband, 2 daughters Shannon M. Beckwith of Tyrone, 
Megan L. Turiano at home, her father of Tyrone, 2 brothers Michael 
Ashcroft and wife Sandy of Tyrone, Mitchell Ashcroft of Chicago, 
Illinois, and nieces and nephews Michael and Andrew Ashcroft and Mariah 
and Celena Turiano and her cat Sam. She was preceded in death by her 
mother, a brother Mark and special friends Ben and Ellen DelBaggio. 
  She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She had been 
employed in the accounts receivable department at New Pig Corp., Tipton 
for the past 15 years. 
  Marie enjoyed reading, Penn State football, a good glass of wine and 
spending time with family and friends at home and in Spruce Creek. 
  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 11:00 
a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis R. Gable 
officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will 
be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 6 
to 9 p.m.
  Memorial gifts may be made to the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library, 
Children's Section, 1019 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686. 
  "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept 
the faith." 2 Timothy 4-7.
