FRANK A. LOWER

Formerly of 1014 Franklin St., Roaring Spring, died yesterday, Aug. 13, 
1972, at 5.30 p.m. in the Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg. He 
was born in Roaring Spring on April 21, 1887, a son of John and Eliza 
(Gartland) Lower, and married Rosie Ripley in Atlantic City, N.J., in 
1912. Surviving are three children, Marion R. of Carlisle, Mrs. Marie 
L. Smith of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Margaret L. Wagner of 
Bloomsburg; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. Mr. Lower was an 
employe of General Refractories Co. of Claysburg, retiring in 1947 with 
32 years' service. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 
Roaring Spring. Friends will be received in the Thompson Funeral Home, 
Roaring Spring, from 7 to 8.30 p.m. tomorrow.
