MRS. NANNIE R. COX

  Mrs. Nannie R. Cox, wife of Samuel D. Cox, of 228 Fifth avenue, died 
yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at the Mercy hospital, of pneumonia.  
She was ill for but three weeks and was admitted to the institution 
several days ago.  She was born in New York state on May 12, 1842, and 
was married on September 15, 1869, in Snowshoe to S. D. Cox.  She 
resided in this city a number of years and was a member of the Third 
Presbyterian church.  She is survived by her husband and one son, 
Robert R. Cox, a chief gunner in the United States navy, now at the 
Annapolis Naval academy, Maryland, and one brother, Nathan Ide, and a 
sister, Mrs. Sadie Leets, of West Virginia.

Funeral Notices.

  The funeral of Mrs. Nannie Ida Cox, wife of Samuel Davis Cox, will be 
held this afternoon from the Stevens' mortuary, Eighth avenue and 
Fifteenth street, services conducted at 3 o'clock by Rev. Dr. J. E. 
Irvine, followed by burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
