Layman, Robert H.

Robert H. Layman of Edmond, went to be with the Lord on December 2 at the age of 
89. He was born and lived in Terre Haute, Indiana, until 1997 when he moved to 
Edmond to be with his daughter. He was preceded in death by both parents, five 
brothers, his wife of 56 years, Beatrice Layman and one daughter, Barbara Jean 
Layman. He is survived by two brothers: William Layman of Pensacola, Florida and 
Richard Layman of Waynesville, Missouri; one sister: Norma Vandiver of Columbia, 
Tennessee; one son: Robert R. Layman of Dania, Florida; one daughter: Carol A. 
Jackson and her husband Dennis of Edmond, Oklahoma; two grandsons: Robert W. 
Jackson and his wife Keri of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Bradley A. Jackson and 
his wife Dana of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 8 great grandchildren and many friends. 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at the 
North Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, 
memorial contributions may be made to Cherokee Hills Christian Church, 6601 N. 
MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132. VONDEL L. SMITH & SON MORTUARY 13125 N. 
MacArthur 720-1439
